UVA Asian InterVarsity
is an Asian-specific chapter of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA that strives to welcome all Asian/Asian-American/Pacific Islander (A/AAPI) students at the University of Virginia to be a part of our family. We are part of a multi-chapter, multi-ethnic InterVarsity witness at UVA; and a national movement of Christ-centered witnessing communities.

We recognize that culture is the filter through which all people see the world, and as AAPI students at UVA, we have similar lenses. AIV started because we wanted a space where we could be our real, authentic selves, wrestle with faith and culture, and invite others to join us. In Asian culture, family is important, so we wanted to be that for each other--a home away from home--while at school.
